REQUESTING PAYMENT
You must request award funds through an online form available only in REACH. Payment Form Instructions

Watch this video for step-by-step instructions on how to submit an ARP Payment Request.

Important Note: The Arts Endowment has partnered with Enterprise Service Center (ESC), a division of the US Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), to process payments. Payments will be issued to the bank account in your entity’s SAM.gov account. Please ensure that the banking information is correct and up-to-date. If there are questions regarding your organization’s SAM.gov account or banking information you may receive an email from ESC. ESC’s emails are sent from an @faa.gov address. If you have any concerns, contact grants@arts.gov.

PROGRESS REPORT
Generally, only one progress report will be required during the period of performance of the award. It is submitted as part of the Payment Request form through REACH. Limit your response to the space provided on the online form.

The Progress Report is due the first time the cumulative amount requested EXCEEDS two thirds (2/3) of the award amount. The Progress Report must include a description of grant-supported general operating activities that,

  • Have been undertaken since the grant period start date, and
  • Are scheduled for the remainder of the grant period.

FINAL REPORTS
Your final reports will be submitted through REACH. Log in to REACH and open the Forms & Reports tab to view and submit the required reports for your award. Required final reports are due 120 days after your period of performance (award period) ends.

Important Note: Final reports can be submitted as soon as all award funds have been drawn down, even if there is time remaining for the period of performance.

Required Reports for ARP Grantees:

  • Federal Financial Report (FFR): Web form available only through REACH | Instructions
  • Final Descriptive Report (FDR): Web form available only through REACH

CREDITING REQUIREMENTS

ARP Grantee Crediting Requirement: You must clearly acknowledge support from the National Endowment for the Arts for the American Rescue Plan in material such as signs, leaflets, publications, and websites. IMPORTANT: Do not credit specific programs or projects with support from the NEA but instead use this crediting to indicate overall operating support for the organization. Use the following language: [ORGANIZATION NAME] is supported in part by an American Rescue Plan Act grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to support general operating expenses in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
